Director Adam McKay has shed some light on why he so quickly changed his mind about Marvel's 'Ant-Man,' on which he very briefly looked set to fill the big chair vacated by Edgar Wright. Within the course of maybe 36 hours, McKay went from being on the shortlist of potential new directors for the troubled movie (with Ruben Fleischer and Rawson Thurber), to entering negotiations to take the job, to changing his mind and pulling out altogether. It's the latest worrying development on a project which is leaving Marvel fans feeling plenty worried already, coming barely a week after the shock exit of original director/co-writer Edgar Wright.
