Ethan Hawke Is Going to Die ... as 'Macbeth' on Broadway

By Tony Maglio LOS ANGELES (TheWrap.com) - Ethan Hawke is "purging" himself of the Hollywood lifestyle and heading back to Broadway, according to the Lincoln Center Theater. Hawke, whose film "The Purge" is still performing strongly at the box office, will be playing the title role in Shakespeare tragedy, "Macbeth." The Lincoln Center Theater production will reunite the actor with director Jack O'Brien. Hawke returns to the venue where he starred in "Henry IV" and "The Coast of Utopia" - the latter of which he was nominated for a Tony Award - with "Macbeth. ...
