Does ‘Agent Carter’ short film pave the way for more female-oriented Marvel movies?

It may not be a full-length feature, but Marvel Studios have produced their first film to focus on a female character: 'Agent Carter,' a short film which will be included as an extra on the 'Iron Man 3' DVD and Blu-ray. The fifteen minute 'one-shot' sees Hayley Atwell return as Peggy Carter, her character from 'Captain America: the First Avenger,' in a story that follows on from the events of that film, following a post-World War 2 Carter on her first mission as a secret agent.
