Exclusive: 'Pee-wee's Playhouse' coming to blu-ray, in a 45-episode box set

By Brent Lang LOS ANGELES (TheWrap.com) - That maniacal laugh is back. "Pee-wee's Playhouse" will debut on Blu-ray thanks to a new deal with Shout Factory. That means that Pee-wee, Cowboy Curtis, Reba the Mail Lady, Captain Carl, Chairry, Pterri and the rest of the Playhouse gang will now be available in high-definition and in one complete box set. Shout! plans to release "Pee-wee's Playhouse: The Complete Series" as a multi-disc set in 2014. The discs will feature all 45 episodes, along with "Pee-wee's Christmas Special" and special bonus features. ...
