'The Wicker Man: the Final Cut' will mark the 40th anniversary of a British horror classic

Depending on who you talk to, 'The Wicker Man' might just be the single greatest horror film ever produced within the British Isles. As such, it will be the cause of great excitement to some today to learn that a new edition of the film, dubbed 'The Wicker Man: the Final Cut,' will be released to cinemas this September, and shortly thereafter to DVD, through StudioCanal. A complete cut of director Robin Hardy's film has long been the dream of the film's devoted fan base, as well as the surviving members of the cast and crew.
