Alec Baldwin in talks with MSNBC to host primetime show

Baldwin, an outspoken liberal, would be a good fit for the left-leaning network, which has an opening in its Friday night 10 p.m. timeslot. He's made no secret of his politics, even flirting with the idea of running for political office, telling the New York Times in 2011 that he might run for mayor of New York City someday.
