'Bastille Day' directing gig goes to Baran Bo Odar

By Jeff Sneider LOS ANGELES (TheWrap.com) - "The Silence" director Baran bo Odar is making noise in Hollywood, as he's been hired to direct "Bastille Day," an action-thriller being produced by Vendome Pictures and Anonymous Content, TheWrap has learned. Vendome is fully financing production of the film, which Anonymous Content developed with screenwriter Andrew Baldwin ("Logan's Run"). Anonymous brought "Bastille Day" to Vendome, which preemptively acquired the project in April 2012 before it became available to all buyers.
