Sony latest target of intern class-action lawsuit

By Todd Cunningham LOS ANGELES (TheWrap.com) - A woman who worked a summer as an unpaid intern has filed a class-action lawsuit against Sony Corporation of America, Sony Music Holdings and Columbia Recording Corp. over wages she says she should have been paid. The lawsuit was filed in state Supreme Court in New York on Tuesday, and is similar to ones filed by unpaid interns against other entertainment and media companies. Britt'ni Fields says she worked as an unpaid intern from May 2008 to August 2008 but should have been paid under state labor law. ...
