Avatar: New Avatar sequels set to be the most expensive in movie history

The history of James Cameron's work tells us that the visionary director usually gets what he wants from the studio, with his previous movie 'Titanic' having infamously gone way over budget. Of course, when you produce what was at that time the highest grossing movie in cinema history, such minor quibbles as going over budget and finishing the movie at a later date than was anticipated tend to be forgiven. So it is with 'Avatar' with the sci-fi epic having displaced Cameron's own 'Titanic' as the highest grossing movie in cinema history.
