Marvel and Netflix unite for five new TV shows

After the success of Marvel's 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' it looks as though five new TV shows will be coming our way via Netflix… including Daredevil, Luke Cage and The Defenders. In one of the biggest announcements this week, it looks as though Marvel Studios will be teaming up with online streaming giants Netflix. And that includes Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Iron Fist and Luke Cage… culminating in 'The Defenders' mini-series. According to an official press-release, it looks as though Marvel will be kicking off an entirely new TV-based franchise - think Phase One but for TV.
