Saffron Burrows joins Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D as Victoria Hand

Actress Saffron Burrows has joined Marvel's 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D' in a recurring role. She will play Victoria Hand, a S.H.I.E.L.D accountant who in the comics both worked for super villains such as Norman Osborne and aided superheroes. Hand was created by Brian Michael Bendis and made her first appearance in a 2008 issue of The Invincible Iron Man. Burrows will make her debut in next week's episode 'The Hub', which sees Agent Coulson (Clark Gregg) and his team return to a S.H.I.E.L.D stronghold.
