'X-Men: Days of Future Past' writer Simon Kinberg has described the tone of his next major superhero script 'The Fantastic Four' as somewhere between 'Chronicle' and 'Spider-Man'. Kinberg's script will be brought to the big screen by director Josh Trank, whose first feature film 'Chronicle' got him the gig. When he says 'Spider-Man' though he doesn't mean Marc Webb's currently-active 'Amazing Spider-Man' series, but Sam Raimi's Tobey Maguire-starring original trilogy. Josh Trank's instincts are to be as realistic and grounded and real with this stuff as possible.
