Although Marvel fans would love to see Spider-Man appear alongside The Avengers, Sony boss Avi Arad thinks it'll be a long time before that ever happens… In an interview with IGN, 'Amazing Spider-Man' producers Avi Arad and Matt Tolmach admitted that they don't see Spider-Man crossing over with The Avengers anytime soon. Clearly the folks at Sony think that Spider-Man has enough legs to stand on its own… and with such ambitious plans to build their own cinematic universe, it certainly sounds as though there are big things to come for Marvel's resident web slinger. "If you were to do that, you know, Spider-Man in the Avengers is a stunt."
