The director and stars of the latest movie version of Godzilla have hit back at complaints in Japan about the monster being too fat. Fans of the original films, which date back to 1954, have said they are \"annoyed with how fat the monster appears\" in the trailer. There have also been claims online the makers have done a \"super-size me\" and created a \"calorie monster” and a “Godzilla Deluxe.” But Godzilla director Gareth Edwards claims there have been relatively little criticism - and he has warned it risks giving the monster an image complex.
