'X-Men: Days of Future Past' producer and writer Simon Kinberg has dropped some details about the film's follow-up, 'X-Men: Apocalypse'. Concerning the period in which 'Apocalypse' would be set, Kinberg said that the filmmakers plan to "push further into our past, but their future" as they did with 'First Class' set in the 60s and 'Days of Future Past' in the 70s. Last month Bryan Singer confirmed that the original prequel stars would return, fuelling reports that the older cast of Singer's original 'X-Men' movies (apart from Wolverine) would not return. "X-Men: Apocalypse will primarily follow the First Class cast - Fassbender, Mc Avoy, Jen Lawrence, Nic Hoult - those will be your protagonists," said Kinberg on the matter.
