Edgar Wright Almost Directed Deadpool?

It looks as though former 'Ant-Man' director Edgar Wright had also been approached for a Deadpool solo film. It's been a tough few weeks for Edgar Wright after pulling out of Marvel's 'Ant-Man'. It seems he may have once been in the running to direct another Marvel-related project - a solo Deadpool movie. It's the project Deadpool fans have been crying out for - a solo outing for Marvel's Merc with a Mouth.
