Pete Docter Opens Up About Inside Out

Pete Docter Opens Up About Inside Out During the recent Annecy International Film Festival, the movie's director, Pete Docter, was on hand to deliver a rather impressive presentation that focused on what is arguably Pixar's most ambitious project since 'WALL-E'. The 'Up' helmer says the film's protagonist of sorts, Riley Anderson, is "one of those kids who seems like she was born happy". A collection of her emotions make up the cast, which include Fear (Bill Hader), Sadness (Phyllis Smith), Joy (Amy Poehler), Disgust (Mindy Kaling) and Anger (Lewis Black). It's "a giant amusement park full of everything Riley has ever daydreamed about." And with just over a year until the film's release, there's plenty still to develop, craft and achieve on what could turn out to be Pixar's big comeback.
