Amidst all this near-constant 'Batman vs. Superman' talk, it's easy to forget that DC Comics have many other properties lined up for potential big-screen adaptation. One of these, which this writer had quite frankly long since given up hope would ever materialise, is 'Preacher.' Created by writer Garth Ennis and artist Steve Dillon, the comic ran from 1995 to 2000 as part of DC's Vertigo line - and as regards the content, the term 'provocative' barely scratches the surface.
