Rhys Ifans Joins Philip Seymour Hoffman in Showtime's 'Trending Down'

"The Amazing Spider-Man" star Ifans, who's signed on for a recurring role in the upcoming season of CBS's "Elementary," has now also joined the Showtime pilot "Trending Down," co-starring alongside Philip Seymour Hoffman and Kathryn Hahn. The pilot, described as "a darkly comic examination of what it means to matter," revolves around Thom Payne (Hoffman), a man facing his own obsolescence after his advertising agency is taken over. Ifans will play Jonathan Clow, Payne's boss. ...
