'The Hobbit' and 'Lord of the Ring's' Peter Jackson has spent so much of his life directing the Middle Earth films, so you can't blame him for wanting to do something new every now and then. Of course with filming for 'Desolation of Smaug' and 'There and Back Again' wrapped up, he's free.
