There's no doubting Marc Webb's nerdy credentials after the 'Amazing Spider-Man 2' director used Elvish runes to announce that the trailer for the upcoming sequel will premiere ahead of 'The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug.' And for those of you who haven't quite mastered the language created by J.R.R. Tolkein for his series of novels, it translates as: "Watch for the Amazing Spider-Man 2 trailer in front of The Hobbit in 3D." Webb's way certainly beats the trailer of a trailer that Marvel released ahead of 'Iron Man 3' last year. However, since filming wrapped, Webb has clearly been staving away in the editing suite to make Peter Parker's return just right, as he has only uploaded a paltry amount of tweets since July.
