In a surprising turn of events, 'Evil Dead' director Fede Alvarez has quit the planned sequel to this year's hit horror remake. Alvarez dropped the bombshell in an interview with Gorosito.tv. The Uruguayan director co-wrote the remake with Rodo Sayagues, who will not be returning either. indeed, as far as Alvarez knows, it may not get made at all.
