While preparations continue for what are set to be a record breaking series of sequels, James Cameron's original 'Avatar' movie continues to break records all over the globe. In the four years since Cameron's sci-fi epic was first released, it has smashed all sorts of records for both revenue and viewership, with perhaps its most notable achievement being the movie becoming the highest grossing motion picture of all-time. It was confirmed by televisual agencies in Spain this week that 'Avatar' has recently broken audience records in Spain to become the most watched movie on TV in the Mediterranean nation since the turn of the century. The movie was recently broadcast through the Spanish cable company Mediaset Telecinco, and figures indicate that the channel was able to garner a 32% audience share and over six-million viewers during the two days that 'Avatar' was broadcast.
