Breaking on to the horror scene, and indeed the film scene as a whole, Jamie Lee Curtis cemented herself as the 'scream queen' when John Carpenter's classic 'Halloween' was unleashed upon the world. Starring as Laurie Strode, Lee Curtis suddenly became a star and consequently head down a path of film roles galore, starring in 'Halloween' sequels, 'Halloween 2', Halloween H20' and 'Halloween Resurrection', among others. While her horror roots were somewhat left behind as she sought bigger roles in action films, comedies and family-based offerings, the actress, daughter of legendary 'Psycho' star Janet Leigh, still kept herself involved in horror projects. After 'Halloween' she starred in other genre films 'Prom Night' and 'The Fog'.
