As some of you may be aware, Yomi Hirasaka's 'Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai' ('Haganai' ) is getting the live-action treatment. The novel series of the same name has spawned an incredible 6.1 million printed copies over eight volumes, as well as two anime TV series, so the next logical step would be to produce a feature film. Written and directed by TakurÅ Oikawa, the film is p enned for a February 2014 release, and will be a separate, original story to the previously created works that take place in the frivolous world of romance and comedy set within high school. The initial concept behind the 'Haganai' series is about Kodaka Hasegawa, a new student who, due to his partial English descent (that of his deceased English mother) is ostracised because of his mix of brown and blonde hair.
