Hollywood studios often have to sacrifice a filmmaker's vision in order to match other criteria that could entice further viewer's to their movie, and 'Thor: The Dark World's' director Alan Taylor has revealed that Marvel were no exception during the shooting of the superhero sequel. Talking to Crave Online, Taylor was asked if he would support a campaign to release his cut of the film with the DVD and Blue-ray editions, to which he thoroughly enthused, "Wouldn't that be great?" Taylor even went on to formulate a plan for how his cut might find the light of day, explaining, "Maybe if you start the lobbying right now you can build up enough demand that Marvel will have to respond."
