The Hobbit star Sir Christopher Lee receives British Film Institute fellowship

The Hobbit star Sir Christopher Lee receives British Film Institute fellowship Sir Christopher Lee has been in almost everything, but fans of the 'Lord of the Rings' and 'The Hobbit' will likely remember him for his dark and brooding performance as the evil and dastardly sorcerer Saruman. There's no question that Lee is a legend in the acting world so rightfully he's now been awarded by the British Film Institute for his work. Lee received the British Film Institute's highest accolade in late October at the 57th BFI London Film Festival. This is an award he thoroughly deserves as he's 91 and still working as an actor, most recently of course for Peter Jacksons 'Hobbit' trilogy where he had to film his scenes here in the UK to be superimposed onto the top of his the scenes in which his character appears, due to the health risks attached to flying to New Zealand.
