Recent news suggests that, along with a confirmed in-the-works 3D release for 'The Incredibles', Pixar have undertaken the same challenge for 'Ratatouille', and it could be close than we think, providing they can sort a release strategy. Their 3D Production Director, Josh Hollander, said, "We have a version of 'Ratatouille', which works really well in 3D and we're trying to figure out exactly what the release strategy for that will be." After all, 'Finding Nemo's' 3D conversion did take a decade after the film originally hit cinemas, yet with recent successes such as 'Toy Story 3' and 'Frozen' available in the third dimension, you'd assume it was only a matter of time. However, it seems that Pixar may have actually put 'Ratatouille's' release on hold to pursue related avenues.
