In truth, the last few years have seen the company rise back up the ranks with their relentless franchise acquisitions of Marvel, 'Star Wars' and Pixar, but it doesn't end there for the ever-expanding ambitions of the famous Mouse House. Having now completed the purchase of Maker Studios -- a YouTube network that is already enormously popular and successful in its own right -- Disney look set to make the commodity an even more influential platform that'll allow them to venture into the online world. It's no secrets this is a venture that'd allow Disney to capitalise on their current market share, but is an exploration of new waters in an age where digitally-available films (such as iTunes and Netflix) are a popular, booming enterprise. But what will Disney get out of the deal?
