Dad's Army film proposal welcomed

Bill Pertwee who starred in the classic TV comedy Dad's Army sits beside at bronze statue of Captain Mainwaring, played by actor Arthur Lowe, in Thetford, Norfolk The chairman of a museum devoted to Dad's Army has welcomed a report that a new feature film is to be made from the classic BBC comedy.
