Disney Chief Gives Frozen 2 Update

Disney Chief Gives Frozen 2 Update The monumental success of Disney's 'Frozen' means that a sequel to the wintry adventure was always going to be a near-certainty. But it now appears as though we're still quite a few years away from it being released, after Disney's chairman, Alan Horn, admitted that the studio are currently focusing their attention on a Broadway version of the musical before they even begin to plan a second cinematic outing. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Horn made the announcement at the Bloomberg Business of Entertainment Breakfast on Tuesday morning, where he also took the time to speak about the upcoming additions to the 'Star Wars' and 'Pirates of the Caribbean' franchises too. But Disney officials will have been most interested in learning about 'Frozen's' future plans, especially since it recently became the sixth highest grossing film of all time - a staggering achievement.
