Green Lantern Writer Wants Character In Justice League

Green Lantern Writer Wants Character In Justice League Marc Guggenheim, co-writer of 2011's ill-fated 'Green Lantern' movie, says he hopes to see the character return in Warner Bros/DC's recently announced 'Justice League.' Now the showrunner of DC television series 'Arrow' (guess he's working his way through all the Green characters), Guggenheim was one of four credited writers on the flawed film from director Martin Campbell, which made a valiant effort but ultimately failed to launch Ryan Reynolds as a big screen superhero to rival those of Marvel. As it stands, 'Justice League' should star Henry Cavill's Superman, Ben Affleck's Batman, Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman and Ray Fisher's Cyborg, all reprising their roles from 2016's still officially untitled 'Man of Steel' sequel which everyone's calling 'Batman vs. Superman.'
