Adrien Brody has become the first actor to declare his interest in playing The Joker in the 'Justice League.' Back in 2006 Brody, alongside Jude Law, Paul Bettany, Sean Penn, and Robin Williams, was one of the actors heavily linked to the role as the super-villain, which, infamously, eventually went to Heath Ledger. At the time, Brody admitted that his interest in the character was piqued after he watched Christopher Nolan's 'Batman Begins.' He noted, "I thought it was really cool. It's not known if Brody has seen Zack Snyder's Superman reboot, 'Man Of Steel,' but it's probably a good sign that 'The Pianist' thespian didn't completely balk at the mere notion of him joining the director's burgeoning DC universe.
